Central Highlands Water is one of 15 Non-Metropolitan Urban Water Authorities owned by the State Government of Victoria, providing domestic water and wastewater services to over 65 communities ranging in size from 200 to 88,000 residents throughout Victoria's Central Highlands region.

The region is centred on Ballarat and includes the major towns of Maryborough, Daylesford, Ballan, Beaufort and Creswick.
