CMG is Australia's leading supplier of Electric motors, Variable Speed drives and Gearbox products. We are the only manufacturer of electric motors in Australia and proudly welcome visitors to our state of the art facility located at our head office in Melbourne. CMG have extensive experience in the supply of Variable speed drives and Gearbox products to the Water Industry, and our national support network is second to none.

Electric Motors: CMG motors are available in 2/4/6/8/ pole speeds, sizes from from 0.09 kW up to 1000 kW and higher (High voltage motors are also available on request). CMG standard 3 phase motors are MEPS II compliant.

Frequency Converters: Vacon Frequency Converters from 0.25 kW to 5MW. Genesis Drives from 0.25 to 2.2 kW.

Soft Starters: Digital soft starters are available up to 1 MW All CMG Frequency Converters & Soft Starters are EMC and C compliant.

Transmission: Helical and worm geared motors, mechanical variators, variable speed pulleys and torque limiters.

Test Laboratory: Our NATA accredited test laboratory provides performance testing of motors under load. Motor testing can be performed in conjunction with frequency converters and soft starters under load up to 315kW. Higher tests can be performed (up to 1000kW) upon application.
The corporate head office and manufacturing operations are located in Rowville, Victoria. CMG has branches in all states and New Zealand.
